I run Bilstein shocks on my H2 but the Ranchos are good shocks. Some find them very stiff, especially the 5000 series. The 9000 series are adjustable BUT you need to make sure that the knob will be accessable to make adjustment on the fly and at the same time protected from trail débris.

You could always get the air adjustment accessory for 9000s but then you really need to be careful how mount them! The rear would be easy you could mount them upside down (rod end down) but I don't think you will be able to do that up front.

Happy shopping!

Btw, I have used Explorer Pro Comp shocks as well and find them to be a great buy with excellent ride quality.

You should also check with 4 Wheel parts here in Canada...you might get some great prices without having to pay exchange.

My Deuce had the 9000 series which I loved.... But the adjusting is a pain so when my jeep goes in for surgery...I'll won't get the adjustable ones again but am sticking with Rancho..

I had Bilsteins previously and won't touch them again as one seized after only 1 year, both had the piston caps come off... I found them really poor quality... But ,any have had good luck with them which is why I got them!! But I always seem to have the luck....

Gawd I miss my Deuce..... My H1 is still on the lot so hopefully I'll have better luck with lotto 649/max this time... No luck at the casino last night...

I run the Rancho 9000 on my H3T, I think they have been on over 3 years now and they still perform great. I drop the setting down to zero for offloading, about 5 for around town and 7 on the highway.

I just replaced my shocks on my 3, I went 4wheelparts like polar said. You get a deal right now on a set of 4. Rancho or bilstein or procomp. I was hoping Fox did too so I coulda got the 2.0 but too pricey. I got all 4 bilstein for 310 bucks, 9000 Rancho was around 400 I think and mx6 procomp was in between I think. For the price of the Fox I coulda got bilstein 5160 I think. I actually just put them I. Today and so far I like them. Will tell better after a couple weeks but better controll for sure.

I have the Bilstein 5160's up front and after a year they need replacing, they had really good travel but the ride was still tough just because of the torsion bar system being rock hard even with a mild crank.

I HAD a pair of FOX 2.0 in the rear for all of 4 months and they started leaking before they just bottomed out and had no charge. I went to Fox for warranty and I spent 2 months passing phone calls, pictures and about 70 emails to have Fox more or less tell me I was sh!t out of luck for warranty, just because. The same problems I had with them when I was racing ATVs, bad shocks and worse customer service.

I just have a pair of the o.e.m adventure package rear shocks, they ride alright until I pull a trailer.

Debating myself about going to Bilstein 5100 on all 4, Rancho 9000, or ProComp.

Rhino like Sugarphreak is on Rancho 9000 shocks with their 4" lift. These shocks are lifetime warranty but if used with the my ride adjustable unit they drop to a one year warranty. Rhino is comfortable and well behaved both on road and in deep snow. Units went on last October.
Try local performance shops and you may find their competitive with big US mail order and in many cases they will stick up for you.
