H1 Electrical Drain on Batteries

Post by drm »

I dont use my H1 much and I know I must have some parasitic drag on my batteries. Im thinking of using a battery disconnect switch.  Anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.

Other than doing an ohms test on every curcuit to find out where the drain is, the battery disconnect system is your best option. I have a similar issue on mine, batterys go dead in 3 days flat. I manually disconnect then every time i think the truck will sit for a bit of time.

Years ago my truck was draining in days, they found it to be short in the alternator, something about the diode that' was in it causing short.
