For what is involved, a quick call will do wonders. One criteria is the age, must be a certain age plus.Second may be the demilitaration.
Whats left on it???

A possible work around for Import would be a fleet of "movie" vehicles. Have a possible contact thru hwy 11 cruisers. I'll ask.

RIV has nothing to do with vehicles that are 15 years and older. I have recently brought some hmmwv trailers into  Canada and even CBS does not know much. I had to explain to them that there are no titles for US vehicles just like there are no ownerships for Canadian forces trucks. Once again it is a criminal offence to bring an end user vehicle into Canada legally. 5 years in the US. pen.

As long as you get approval of your End Use Certificate by the US State Dept. you are good to go.  Have done this multiple times when importing holographic gun sights.  They just want to ensure that they know who is going to be receiving the goods and that they are not going to be re-exported to yet another user in another country.  In essence you are certifying that they will be staying in Canada and are not going to leave the country. You have to be VERY sure you get all the necessary approvals and have it all in hand when you hit the border.  My advice would be to contact a firm that handles import/export from the US to Canada and see what they have to say.

the gold rush will calm... there are 4 000 to be sold....so excitement will expire soon, once they hit car auctions as resale items I will pick up few and have auctions deliver them to Canada. I ve done it before.

I see them dropping down to 10k-15 k or less for older beat up trucks. Thing is they mostly are operational. The newer model years like late 90's early 00's will go for top dollar to MV collectors.

When I get back stateside I'll look at building a trail truck out of one. Put a custom rollcage on it and that's it.

Love to get a LMTV for a camping truck though, some of those went for under 10K.
