Soft Shackles?

Post by whitehumh2 »

Sp I found these new Soft Shackles by Bubba Rope

http://www.bubbarope.com/gator-jaw-soft-shackle

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W4zD8f75Wo

They won a Best New Product award from SEMA...But would you trust them???

I am personally on the fence!

While they will definitely be lighter and easier to use I am nervous that Under extreme loads they might open.

So what do you guys think?

I'd be a little concerned with the life span, or after damp/wet for a while.

For what it's worth the few clevis, shouldn't be that outta hand heavy.

But they defiantly do look nice, and if semi new,I think would be kwel addition.

I'd say a big tugem strap ,few nice size clevis,

I would assume wear and tear depends on how well they are kept care of

I'd like to see a up close video of them in action, to see how well they tighten down.

$55.00!!!??? Seriously?

I like the idea it's light. I also like that it'll fit through a small opening.

I don't like that it might get cut on a sharp edge.

I'd like to try it but not at $55.00. I already have about 8 clevis' now.

I like the idea.... Wear and tear is a concern especially attaching to the bumper if the hoop is sharper... It could Frey...

Still wouldn't mind adding a couple just to have..
