Transmission Fluid change schedule

Post by collega »

Hello, everybody!
My H2 has around 143,000 km. on it and I think it's time to change my transmission fluid and filter because I didn't do it for almost last 6 years I have my Hummer I I don't think so that previous owner did change it either( When I bought my truck it had around 100,000 km on it).
So my question is: How often you should change transmission fluid in H2? I know that, in generally, it should be done after 100,000 km on many different cars. But may be Hummer has different schedule?
Thank You.

It's good idea to know it, guys! So any way, within next several months I need to do it, but at least, I am not far behind my schedule maintenance. Thank You very much.

I always do an extreme service on my trans and Tcase because i drive at 80plus. Never hurts to drop the pan and look for junk in the bottom of the pan and change the filter while in there. On average i do my red fluids every 4-5K for insurance. Once you get burnt fluid you are doing damage. I never wait for that to happen.
