Here is a picture of the one I mounted. Took less than 1/2 hour.  Really good piece.  I believe Glenn out on Vancouver Island is going to take it off my hands.  We are heading out on a fishing trip here in the next few weeks and will deliver it for him.

These units are very nice , but a bit pricey to start with. But hey, we own a Hummer, what is a lot of money!!!!!

When I bought the truck the previous owner was hauling around the spare in the rear compartment.  Not the safest projectile at 160lbs +/-.  If I recall when checking out the original manufacturer their retail price is around 2200 USD.  They work really well and can handle the weight of the spare even when swinging out and down when the fulcrum or leverage effect is at its maximum.
 
I believe a fellow Hummer enthusiast has called dibs on it out on Vancouver Island.  We are heading out to do a bit of shrimping and bottom fishing here in a week or so, plan on delivering it for him.
 
I am now on the hunt for a mud flap kit with close out panels.   01*539-1558 I see HPG has them but for 243 USD/ kit.  Anyone have another line on them?
