I am in on this one as in live just north of Parry Sound. There are other hotel option in Parry Sound as well as some B&B options. I will post these up later. I also have a home that can sleep 14 people all in beds and 24 if we use couches and inflatable beds!! Unfortunately the inground pool will be under repair at this time. Will have to check with the wife, but I could possibly host an evening if the weather was really nasty for camping as the house is very open concept and around 4,800 sq feet. Driveway has room to park several vehicles and front yard is being prep'd for sod anyways so......

I hope to make it back from a trip in order to make it to Ardbeg else my son said he would take the truck a go. Great just what I need; more repairs.

My trail pass arrived last week complete with truck sticker, member card and access to OF4WD site with all the trail maps. Great stuff.

Thanks Roy for coordinating this with the Alpha membership; get the best of both worlds. All set for any trail in Ontario now.

BTW, son and I are talking about a run in early May (when the trails open). Will take dirt bike, atv and camp there. If interested PM me and we arrange date. If someone wants to do a day trip that might be an idea as well. Likely 02May15 weekend. Last year by time the May long weekend rolled around the bugs were out of control so we hope to beat the swarm this year.

There's also weekend wheeling event's with other clubs in Ontario that are open to all rig's . Most of the club's wheel weekly and year round and you don't have to be a member of OF4WD. Hit me up on FB . More Hummers the better !!!

Sorry to tell you but you are wrong about not having to be part of OF4WD. To be Legal and good Stewards of the trails and to ensure future land use priveleges we are required to be part of the OF4WD. Just because a group does not follow the rules, does not mean that it is OK. The OF4WD and the Federation des 4x4 de Québec are there to protect our sport. We need to work with them and support them not simply try and bypass them.

I do however like and encourage your idea for joining in with other clubs. We are doing the same here in Québec.

Thanks,

Kev
