On Thursday, we ran a Trail 01P but since the winch on TCs truck was toast after Wednesday's run and since my H2 decided to drop some CV shaft bolts right at the trail head we ran the trail with only a Jeep and Roy's Beast.

This trail was only a 1.6km loop but was super tight even for the Jeep and ridiculously tight for the H1!!!!

And it became a total winch fest!

Needless to say we also managed to get the H1 so stuck it took us 2 hours to get out! The synthetic cable snapped 5+ times and then I decided to walk down to my H2 to get my cable and airbag x-jack except it was about 0.8km each way. Once the steel cable was on we started winching again again then the tree saver strap broke! Finally using the x-jack to lift the rear of the H1 while winching forward we finally freed the Beast!

The remaining part of the trail was a downhill mud run with deep ruts and big rocks but at least Gravity was on our side!

The exit was a multi point winch for the Jeep with the mud being several inches over the top of the 35" tires!

For Roy, well let's just say that last hole will never be the same. It was the best display of H1 awesomeness I have ever seen! Mud was flying trees were moving and the Mighty H1 went through with a vengeance and even crested the exit with a little air under the front tires!

No video or pictures could truly do this trail justice!

On Friday we had 6 jeeps, 1 FJ and 4 Hummers and we went back to try 02H. We parked the H1s at the exit as recovery and then ran the trail with the rest of the group.

The FJ broke an axle on the way in and I exploded my passenger rear window on a tree. We got to the base of the main rock garden and we got all but 2 jeeps up.

My H2 and the two jeeps turned back and did the trail in reverse, to go and recover the FJ.

One of the jeeps burst a heater hose so I welded up a plug to seal the leak.

We got everyone out and back to the hotel in time for registration!

And today it begins!

Was a very good week, Unfortunately I broke every day. CV shaft, tire, winch rope 5* and snatch strap, but lastly , rear cv shaft let go on the inner joint. Truck is as good as a smart car without rear traction in the trail. Home a day early to rest up for the repairing.
