Engine stalls

My auxillary tank is on the half full while im driving to work this morning and suddenly the engine stall.. I tried starting it it wont start..I swithed to main tank tank and it started and run normal again.. Anyone knows what happening on my truck? Last week, almost same think. After stopping and shutting off the engine at tim hortons it wont start.. Before i shut the engine, auxilly tanks says im half full, i think i ran out of diesel as it started when i swith to main tank and suddenly auxillary drop to empty.... Today it wont start on auxillary even the line is still on the half full... Anyone knows? Is this common? What should i do to solve this.. Pkease help

Check the right rear wheel well, there is a steel plate on top of the frame.
Is it damp in this area? ???
yes...
replace fuel lines. very common issue of alum lines getting a hole .
temporary fix is a rubber hose in this area.
No...
check dual tank valve switcher, this controls which tank the fuel comes from, gauge it uses...
common issue of switch not moving all the way one way.
