I would be very surprised if an APP sensor failed. In all my years working at Hummer and GM I only ever replaced one! I think they need to recheck the wiring since it happens on brake application and not throttle application. Possibly a loose ground or shorted wire. Just my thought but I am not beside the truck!

I tend to agree Kev. I searched high and low on google and the forums for any reference to this happening to anyone and came up empty. It seems like they mashed a wire or connection that fails when the stopping G force is applied and something moves. Oddly enough they said when they pull the ABS fuse it does not throw the code. (sorry I forgot to mention that) That should narrow it down for them I would think. I am going to bug them for an update today so I will let you know what they found out.

Re: H1 getting closer to complete....
Well guys.. the truck is almost done. In the last week the reassembly was completed, Evans coolant, new fuel lines c/w selector valve, shocks, all fluids changed with synthetic.
The hood fit was terrible after the intercooler install as it appears I have "one of those" trucks. The body is lifted more than 2" but it was still not enough for pipe clearance over the stack. Travis at Rubber Duck was frankly amazing. He took the call and immediately sent out the lift for the hood and some protectors for the silicone connectors between the hood vent and the stack. Almost enough room but not quite yet. You can see how the screen has bit into the plastic protector already. Clearly more to do here....
All that is left now is shimming up the hood a bit or chopping the hell out of my hood vent which I want to avoid if possible. And sorting out this ridiculous P1125 code thrown when the ABS kicks in. I will let you know how it works out. I will send some better pictures of the finished install when I get them... I am 6000 miles away at the moment.

Re: H1 getting closer to complete....
I personally just do not like those hood scoops on a H1. I know lots of guys love them and that's great, but I am trying to avoid it if possible. However... I could just pull the screen off or trim it too. Then all the dang leaves get in there. After the update from the guys tonight I might be shopping for one.....
I have to admit I miss my truck. It has been under the wrench for 2 months almost. I can't wait to drive it. I hope I don't have a stroke when I see the bill.
More later....

Re: H1 getting closer to complete....
Well guys.... This is what we had to do to make the hood fit over the intercooler pipes. The Truck has a more than 2" lift, the hood lift kit installed and it still would not fit. We tried pulling just the screen off the inside of the vent and as you can see... ah, no! Not going to be ok. This is one of those trucks with a more vertical stack it became obvious. In the process of this adventure I learned our cooling stacks on the H1s have a varying angle and height of installation from the factory depending on what day of the week and who assembled it. In other words there was no "factory cookie cutter precision" on this assembly. Most trucks with this set up have had plenty of room for the intercooler pipes with just the body lift alone. I got lucky.... Not.
So the axe came out and I looked away as the chopping was done. I don't mind the look at first glance but will give it a bit of time to soak in.
What do you think? Does this look like a total hack chop job?
Kev I know...HOOD SCOOP! HOOD SCOOP!!!! haha..
I may end up with one yet.

Appreciate some input guys.
Next but likely not last.... Does anybody have any idea what the bulbs are inside the "Status Centers" for ABS, Check Engine, Wait to Start, Water in Fuel....etc are??
I need a couple and all I find referenced on the web is the same 194 bulb that goes into the rest of the Gauges. These bulbs fit into the actual circuit board. I dont have a picture unfortunately.
David at HPG lists the part number as 6006146L and I could not cross reference it. He also lists it as "unavailable from AM General"
So that's the latest guys...

Re: H1 getting closer to complete....
Ok, so if you want to keep the factory radiator grill...why not add another 1 inch thick riser block under the nose of the hood pivots...that should allow it to clear and the hood line should still be OK.
Another alternative would be to change the shape of the intercooler pipe at the connection. If you would make the pipes oval instead of round you would get the needed clearance and keep your OEM look.

The factory grill is chopped now so that option is gone.
The entire hood has been lifted way more than 1". Travis sent me the kit. The side clasps and snubbers have been modified as well. Can't be lifting more without looking ridiculous as it already sits high along the firewall/windshields. I dont want it to look angled back and down either. As far as reshaping the pipes go... this was highly frowned upon in general as the clamps will just pull it round again if they are tightened properly. Plus I was pretty shy about messing around with the cooler connections, which would need to be ovaled as well.
So I will mark one vote as NO for you Kev. Once I get back and see this up close.... I may not like the overall look and lower it back down. Then go with Hood Scoop! Hood Scoop!!! haha
