H1 Rear Brake Shutter
Any one have this problem and know how to correct it. When I apply moderate braking pressure I get a rear brake shutter. I think it is from the right rear. It made no difference when I put on new rotors and pads. I know that if you add a weight to some components you can possibly eliminate shutter problems. Any one have this issue or know how to resolve it. Thanks. Dave.

Re: H1 Rear Brake Shutter
Did you grind the edges of the pads? I believe this is mega common with some rigs and grinding the edge of the pads should fix the issue,
I had a shudder when braking and that little output shaft bearing was pooched...,
Not sure if this helps but seen on knowledge base:

Also flash off-road

I'm sure Roy or polar bear will have better info then me....

Re: H1 Rear Brake Shutter
Check output shafts-put a bar into the rotor and see id they move sideways, a small amount is okay, but say, 10mm is time for new output bearings.Check the output shaft main nut, they do come loose--under cv shaft at flange1-1/8.Check bolts holding the caliper brackets on, they also come loose--15/16. Start here and we can go from there.
