With winter set in there are few places to offroading here in Ontario during the winter. Then I came across the following article at the OF4WD.
http://www.of4wd.com/of4wd-signs-land-use-agreement-south-wind-trail-system/
Looks like this is a private, safe place open and available after all that doesn't upset the snowmobilers when their trails get destroyed. This is a good reason to become affiliated with the OF4WD or even better become a CHC Alpha Member (add on the OF4WD membership).
Is there any interest in having a winter run at this location. I see there is a motel right at the trails. Would be fairly safe as we are not far from civilization should a breakdown occur in cold temperatures. Perhaps we could do a day trip as it is only about 1 1/2 hrs away from the GTA. Ontario Family Day is 15Feb16 so I am thinking a run on the Saturday 13Feb15. This would be a scouting trip unless someone can check this place out before. Any thoughts, any interest?

I'm interested. I haven't been out in a long time and not sure if I can wait till spring! Definitely going to be going up there this summer for a weekend or two.

I know of an off road group that just went. Lots of stock jeeps. They said it was fun. I would be down for checking it out.

I am interested. I'll need to put my 35 and winch back on truck...
