HMMWV/H1 Body (Build Project Starting Point)

Post by JaymieFriesen »

Hi all,
<div style="color:rgb(68,68,68);font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">
<div> </div>
<div>I have been looking for a body or base to start a HMMWV or a civilian model H1 project build. I am just looking for a starting point, this could be a body with or without chassis or even a wreck. No motor, drivetrain, etc required. Body style doesn't matter. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>I also wanted to mention that if any one happens to come across any bodies or old wrecks of a Humvee or civilian model H1 Hummer I would be happy to pay a finders fee to you for the kind reference.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>My budget is about $5,000.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I'm out of British Columbia, Canada, and my brother and I own RYD Motorsports, a custom fabrication shop here. We regularly work on large truck builds, 4x4's, the odd race car and creative project. I'm a very ambitious individual and I've been heavily overworking myself and so have been encouraged to start this personal project that I have been dreaming about since my early years. </div>
<div> </div>
<div>Looking forward to hearing from you.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Cheers,</div>

There have been a few 2dr Humvees on ebay the last couple weeks, all done and ready --way cheaper, but they can always use a touch up. There is an 01 wagon in Toronto for about 60g....will keep my eyes open for you

Ok, now that i have the ambulance body on the duramax, time to pull a few more goodies off the 93 beast and sell it. If anyone is looking for a project please let me know. It has a nice cummins BT4 with a 3L80 so great for offroad fun. Just needs a bit more wrenching. I am going to give the fella in BC a ring
