05 H2 wipers vs blower motor.

Post by BoostSUT »

Hey guys. I've had my h2 for about a year now and the strangest thing happens. the hvac blower will cut out intermittently when the wipers come on. I've searched the forums and couldn't find anything about it. Any one have an idea what's going on?

Uggg, I HOPE it's not the BCM (body control module) you can only get from the dealer and they have to program,

We had hvac issues, wipes, stereo would blink off and on,..

Your best best is have a dealer scanner it,.. This is just the start , as time goes more weird things happened to our 2005,

And wasn't cheap either,..

Polarbear has touched almost every bolt on his truck, hopefully he's more assistance

And lol,I'm just jumping the gun as we went threw this bcm change we did, I'm hoping a fuse or loose wire

We had the BCM go in out 2004 H2 a couple years ago, and yeah, expensive.
Norm & Sue
2004 Pewter H2 (with a splash)
2010 White H3T (sold)

I'm not stuck, I'm momentarily inconvenienced.

I hate that ONLY gm dealer can flash it also, but thats me jumping the gun with my guess, it was a slow process and was more inconvienience of things that happened , I just find when it seems like there's a ghost in the truck, that was our issue, the bcm....oh then the soaked me for. P-bcm like couple weeks after,.. But THAT I was able to get used..

So how many things does the bcm control. I find it odd that controllers shit the bead like this. When I diagnose things at work and come to the conclusion it's a bad controller I usually re check everything. It's possible our stuff is better built then gm but Delphi electronics are usually pretty solid. Also where is the bcm located?

It controls everything basically, hvac, wipers, lights, door locks, seat heater ,gauges, fans, alarm "if equipped ",stereo, mirrors the list goes way on, Google bcm ,I'm sure you'll see how many things that darn box controls, it's crazy,

To add insult to injury its waaaaay under the dash under steering wheel, parking brake area, I'm sure you'll be able to see, but lol way to far in,

The dash should come apart, "labour intensive"

Now this is for the bcm, I'm still hoping it's something else!!

I feel that bcm when working is great, but not many are happy when they go.

I call it a ghost in the truck and slowly as time goes gets worst over the months -years.. Till you have to fix...

Any information on what causes this? Usually a failing component driven by the controller causes the failure. Any cases of repeat bcm failure?
