It's on eBay. Just would like to know how the front end components are and if there is anything leaking. I spoke with the guy awhile ago the first time it was on eBay and thought someone bought it.
I have been reading the article by flash-off-road about buying a used one. I'm sure there are a few of ya that know what I'm talking about. Especially testing the engine.
If you could ask about it that would be amazing.

Re: Inspecting an H1, Ontario
The truck seems body wise in decent condition by the photos. Looks freshly painted. $1000s in bolt ons already on the truck. I see it has the upgraded mirrors too. Make sure to look very close at the back cab corners where the aluminum body meets the steel roof. Mine was a mess there and needed major repairs that extended right across the back of the cab under the window. If the engine is stock it should be ok (depending on previous maintenance) but the turbo may be getting mature. The transmissions in these trucks are decent but a test drive will help get a feel for that. Some slop in the driveline is normal on these things but there are certain places where it's not ok. The interior looks a bit rough but that's to be expected for a truck this old...nothing $$ wont fix. Front end components and seals wear out. Mine had similar miles on it when I bought it and I did replace all the shocks, some seals and ball joints. That and lots of other little things that wear out. You have to expect this buying a truck with more than 100K on it. The good news is these things are not big $$.
The fun factor takes away the wallet pain pretty quick.....
I would want to see all the maintenance records for sure.
But Roy can give you the proper check on all this stuff in an hour. Worth every cent as there are also some very high $$$ things that can catch you up.
good luck
Derek

In addition to previous comments, I wonder what the front hing was used for? Worth to ask if e.g. a snow plow has been connected, you might then want to check all front steering and suspension parts for extra wear from the added weight when the plow is lifted up.
Good luck and enjoy!

Most people use the front hitch to move trailers into the parking spots. Guess they cannot back up too well. One truck I know of uses a CTC blade for the winter with this type of hitch.
Dave seems to have taken really good care of this one.
