Tube with wires under rear fuel tank
Anyone know what these are for? It's a plastic tube running from passenger side to drivers then to up front. I followed them to just under the rear seat and they are cut and go to nothing. Was thinking of removing it all.

Re: Tube with wires under rear fuel tank
Hmmm, only thing I had that was tubes were the lighting wires, for reverse/running/blinkers....
I'm wondering if that's it, was any corrosion ?
But I'm sure other would know more,... Only reason I think this is lol I keep losing rear running lights due to chaffing broken wires

Nope not that. This tube end and has a rubber cap on the end on the passenger side. Its like its there for an add on or something. I will take a pic of it tomorrow.

Re: Tube with wires under rear fuel tank
Thanks i think your right. The straps that hold it up are those cheap plastic ones. Will dive into that later as i still have that stupid thumping noise on acceleration and have the rear brakes calipers half shalfts and stuff all apart trying to figure it out.

Body mounts on the thumping? I got rid of my thumping by tightening them up. LH front was the worst. Of course it is famous for coming loose too. The rest in the back....yup been there. It feels good when you get it done. Sucks doing it.

Re: Tube with wires under rear fuel tank
Body mounts are good. Thumping is while on throttle or heavy braking. Found a bad inner cv. But i don't think thats it. Would think that should be a growling or constant noise. But we will see. I am also putting on front calipers on the rear to eliminate park brake sticking until i rebuild them.
