Thanks to all of your input, it helped a lot since sometimes it's wise to get a second opinion. Hind sight is 20/20 but when I was starting the trouble shooting process I was nervous disconnecting fuel lines. But after seeing Roy pull apart a motor in 15 minutes I had a better idea of what to expect, and ended up pretty confident. And the Army Manuals are pretty detailed once you find what you need.
At least I will never have trouble with my air conditioning or power windows!
