Re: The rebuild >>>>operation accident fix
I will be visiting Roy this Saturday.
He has a to do list, and YAY!!!!
The list is not as scary as it used to be a couple weeks ago.
And I swear to God the timing's perfect warm-weather is slowly showing up now

Re: The rebuild >>>>operation accident fix
Well,,.... Today was busy BUT good (getting to the end busy)
Tightened shock mounts, we had a new s/s wire ,that's on the transfer case that was worn out, mine was worn bad.
Tires are his place.
We removed the fuel tank selector , so when the new one shows we can just pop in, lol not sure if anyone remembers my last tussle with it, lol, still ended up stinking like diesel.
Front bush gard is on now,.
Rear bumper, will be on next weekend .
Look over things ,and darn it, I forgot the centre shaft bearing, soooooo whew glad I saw that....
Roy's prepping to run new brake lines front to back and new master cylinder as well. It's old and leaks.
Oh also Roy did a wheel alignment on it, as the radious rods were new, well few Many times under there, hehe.
Rocker panel protector was fixed today as well,
This week a body panel will show, and a fuel valve,
Yup, almost alllmmmmmooooost

Nice work. Once it is done you'll have to put a bounce of miles on her and enjoy it!

Re: The rebuild >>>>operation accident fix
For(good) some reason last year during the summer it was great, and semi cool (temp wise) almost zero issues.
Everything has pretty well open touched now, so I would have to guess it should be a problem free summer again (crossing fingers .
I do plan to go on some long trips. Well, I mean after I fix I'm sure odds and ends LOL thinking possibly I might have left some things lose/missed here and there.
Hehe

You will definitely have to check all bolts after a few 100k! After a job like that.
