My twin condenser /Radiator top mount fan decided to stop, I rarely use it but like to let it spin to keep bearing moving ....
Soooooo I check it yesterday as it was nice weather ,, and it was not working,,..
So any normal person would check the relay first...no?
Well I check battery connections , lol basically redo....
Then still not working so I check for power to the relay...then realize there is no power, soooo
Finger broke wire, something pinched as I've done bunch of work with Roy last month.
I go in the cab and make sure the switch Is on ,and spend the day figuring out why no power to the relay....
Well I wake up today, and figure go check all fresh from a good sleep, to realize I had the WRONG switch on for my fan, Duhhhhhh
Now I can see my ,lol relay was dead.....sheesh nice couple days eh?
That's like a light bulb burn out and go threw the wiring first, hehe

Re: Ever have those daysssssssssss
Lol Monk. Yes those days happen.
I had one last week.
My HMC4 was sitting plugged in for a week in front of the house as it was cold / snowing like hell and I didn’t feel like sliding around on the 40” MTS.
The day before I went back to work - 25 and yup.... block heater failed at some point.
The $1000 batteries I put in the truck would hardly spin it. By the time it was said and done I got boosted by a flipping F-150.
I put it in the garage and had a bottle of wine

Funny you mention that, I'm gonna say like 5-7 years ago, apperently I was sleep walking, I went to the kitchen , and got milk from the fridge, and poured it on the counter and then went back to bed,.,,Lol!

Wife wakes up after and goes to the washrroom and sees the mess, wakes me, and I remember dreaming I had cereal ....
So I was awake enough to to grab milk ,but not a bowl !!!

Oh ya... I forgot to mention one of the SOV for the CTIS was frozen (pop valve works... yay) and the front heater blower motor bearings failed as well. Even after it warmed up it sounded like it was coming the hell out of there..lol

Re: Ever have those daysssssssssss
Hey thanks Derek. I am looking to put in an updated motor. The factory ones are only lasting me a year or so.
There are some upgraded P/Ns from Delco that fit. Just have to get off my butt and order one. My truck has been in the garage for most of the last 2 years. Freshly painted body and powder coated undercarriage, I did not want to salt it out in the winter and am driving the Vette all summer anyway. Plus being overseas more than half the time.... well the Hummer sits patiently on the battery tender. Just go and start it occasionally and pump up the tires.
