So for a few months I THOUGHT my front drives side speaker was crackling/popping everytimeI had decent flex or bumps on the road/driveway, I'd hear this crackle,
Well......I was sure my speaker was dead, so outta boredom I put one of the back speaker in the front spot and it was STILL popping,
Following week ....
Sooooo, I disconnected the speaker completely and lol while driving was even louder, with the hole there.
I lubed EVERTHING up there, (corners, anything that could squeak) with penetration fluid.
It still was popping,. So after (I'm about to lose it, hehe) I took the front speaker out again and realized there was just a wire ,that knocked on the plastic corner panel, the way it hit (bounced)was of a perfect way it made that horrid sound,...
One tie wrap and she's quiet,...just wanted others to know in case, lol as I was seconds from going insane from that darn cracking sound,.......,hahaha

I had a similar one Monk. Squeak sound from up around the windshields every time I hit any kind of bump. Drove me insane(er). Checked all the interior panels and windshields for loosening up.. all tight.
Finally figured it out. It was my light bar rubbing on the box liner coated roof. 2 minutes of adjustments and the noise is gone. Only took a year. Lol
