Tranny issue BUT lol start from the lowest fruit hehe

I just dropped off my wife at work and I pull into a mall and I'm on the phone but I can smell transmission fluid.

So I look under the truck and lo and behold there's a big puddle.



As per usual I'm just jumping to conclusions and losing my mind ( thinking the tranny is shot)



It was leaking pretty well at the front of the transmission near the middle of the truck.

I rush home and then all of a sudden there's no leak, so I checked my tranny fluid and she was empty so I topped her up.

And didn't leak for a day and I noticed when it was cold that's when it would leak worse , till it warmed up.

Needless to say I ordered a transmission tube grommet she's been dry now for a week.



Lol I swear I Googled everything on the vampire bite for our Transmissions and was getting myself all stressed out thinking about what it could be just to realize it was just a grommet

Yup,, Had the same problem and stress, ending up being a piece of rubber.

That is correct, that little bugger was the thorn in my side. Hehe

I'm assuming that was a new one as mine look like a rotted Leaf when I pulled it out, lol , it was super worn out
