Hydrogen Generator Browns Gas H2 HHO ON A HUMMER??

Post by friend777_99 »

HAS ANYONE LOOKED INTO THE Hydrogen Generator Browns Gas H2 HHO KITS ON EBAY LATELY.THIS IS WHERE THEY USE ELECTRICITY FROM THE ALTERNATOR TO STAINLESS STEEL PIECES IN A SEALED JAR OF WATER TO CREATE HYDROGEN GAS. WHICH IS THEN INJECTED INTO THE INTAKE TO INCREASE THE OCTANE CONTENT OF YOUR FUEL WHICH INCREASES THE POWER OUTPUT OF THE ENGINE SO THAT ONE ACTUALLY BURNS LESS FUEL. APPARENTLY 10 TO 40 % INCREASE IN FUEL ECONOMY??!

Elbert, I am not sure about this, since an engine can only run on Hydrogen Or Gasoline/ethanol but not both at the same time. The computer requires calbration for different octane levels and Gasoline/Ethanol Blends, it would require extensive computer programming to accomodate both and probably way to many extra sensors. I would recommend a Fitch Fuel Catalyst, since this will actually increase your fuel economy and also make the overall driveability much better. I have been running one for close to 2 years now on all my vehicles and I can say that it does make an improvement...somewhere in the range of 2-3mpg.

Hope this helps!

One of the best products that I have found to maximize fuel quality. It was design for the US military to protect fuel system during prolonged storage of equipment and to guarantee that they would start up and run with no problems even after periods of up to 3 years! Here are the links check it out and on the canadian site check the videos clips...dynos don't lie!

Actually this system bypasses the fuel injection system and uses the vaccuum system, (intake system) to pull it into the engine. The computer will need a real creative tune since it will be running Rich according to the O2 sensors so it will cut back on the fuel output via the injectors, but if the engine runs too lean....bye-bye engine! While hydrogen does produce a bigger bang it requires more of it to make that bigger bang, not the tiny quantities that would be on board in the jars. Besides you have ALWAYS been able to run distilled water into ANY engine(except diesel <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />) thru the intake. Doing this is an old Mechanics trick to use steam to clean the engine internally, you just can't put too much or else...you'll have a paperweight!! If some-one would want to design a system that ran completely on Hydrogen that would be far better and GM already did it in 1993....but it was bad for business since you could take water from any source( even pee in your tank <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />) and the engine would run on it...so effectively FREE energy but the Oil companies said NO WAY!

Just my 2 cents!

Hmmm.  Just the other week MythBusters did a show on Fuel Economy Savers and the Hydrogen Generator was one that they tested.  BUSTED!!!  They even put straight Hydrogen to the carb and it ran, but not without a serious backfire!!

I just wanted to comment on the Hydrogen Generator..I have been playing with a unit now for 4 years & we finally are ready to test it...Will be installing it on my 2003 H2...Your right in saying that the ecm needs reprograming because when you add hydrogen the computor thinks the vechicle is running lean & will dump more fuel in. My H2 is getting 10 mpg I am hopeing to get it up to at least 15 mpg..The benifits are suppose to be 50% less emmissions- increase in horse power bye 20 percent & a increase in mpg bye 15 to 20 percent...I will be installing it on tues next week & will post the results
