ALGONQUIN DAY TRIP
<img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Evening all....what a nice day today!....so rather than do stuff around the house i decided to take a day trip....called up a lady friend to accompany me.... <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />,,but she had to wash her hair ,,,or trim her toe nails ,,,,or,,,,,or something <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />...anyways i decided to go it alone,,,and had a blast,,,,stopped in Bancroft to see a buddy of mine i hadent seen in a few yrs, <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />,,,then proceeded up through Manooth,,,...went down 1 back road ,,,hardley plowed....got back in about 3 miles ,,,,every house had a front porch and there was ppl playing banjo's,,,, <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... #>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='???' />..{deuling banjo's i think!} <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />...so i made a hasty retreat! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... sealed.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-X' />....then on to Whitney...then into the park...stopped @ a lake 4 lunch,,,sunny but cool....then on to Dorset...then Minden,,,then Kinmount..{dont even go there!!!}lolol,,,then home,,,left @ 9:00am....got back @ 6:30 pm...anyways i took some pics just outside the park of a rock cliff with ice casscading dwn its front....hope u like,,,,[img width=500 height=375]http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/pp33 ... 0006-1.jpg[/img]....[img width=500 height=375]http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/pp33 ... With a little bit of planning you could have made that into a Hummer Road Trip. I might have been in for that if I had known. Algonquin is a beautiful place to go for a ride....although, they really don't like you "off-roading it" in the park. Did you meet any bears???

Nice trip, we a always use this area to spend weekend. Bancroft, Barrys Bay, Lanark. Yeh, bear it nice to see from the car, but better enjoiy glass of beer at Barrys Bay tavern/ Next time may can meet you there!
We thinking about north, like to take 17 hwy up to 500-700 k.m north. May be I'll try to planning trip like this. Some weekends. Will be glad if somebody else join us.
