Looking for a few more horses

Post by dwaxman1 »

Guys..and Gals..sorry G

Anyways I am looking for a bit more power from my beast.. so far I have a Airraid Air Filter, A throttle body spacer, new Gibson Headers, Gibson Exhaust, and I have a Flea-a-lite Electric Fan to install but I would like about 20 more Horses.. suggestions? I use Luca Sync Oil with K&N Oil Filters, I have changed out all my front and rear diff for Sync, changed my power steering for Sync, swapped out my plugs for NGK and ThunderBolt Wires... any other suggestions??

let me know your thoughts..

No personal experience but I wonder what the expected gain in HP would be? Superchips probably makes one.

New member "portmachine" has a superchips cortex.

Claims noticable HP gains.

You can restore to factory settings at a push of a button.

Cortex has several "out of the box" quick tune settings for nubies.

The cortex has a gasmiser setting as well as an 87 gas setting.

I have a Superchips Flashpaq - I notice slight gains in power, negligible gains in mileage. I got mine used for a good price, I would have been disappointed if I paid full price for it.

You have not been offroad until you've had a HUMMER in the woods.
