What can a H2 realy do.

Post by mr.steve »

Im not going to lie, other then some minor mud my Hummers never have been off road. Probly only because I sunk my H3 in a snow bank the first day I got it. So what can a stock H2 realy do.

In a scale to 1-10.

1-being. Minor mud and gravel roads....

10- being- Bring on anything ...

Come get some.....

My H2 is at least a 15....beaten and broken but she still goes on.. a few band aids and she back on the trails...this tear will be even better!!!

H2 is great.. H1 is too big for the good trails..  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' />

I intend to find out!  I just replaced the original stock tires with new 37" mud terrain tires and got a winch to fit the 2" receivers front and back.  I'll see how it handles at trailfest in 3 weeks, can't wait!

This was my first time wheeling at trailfest, we did an introductory trail the first day, then a 3-4 rated trail the second.  No problems.  Looking forward to learning more about the capabilities of the vehicle before next years event, and then trying the more challenging trails.

If you honestly want to know what your truck can do.. forget the videos and take it out for a run at the AM General Off road trail.. I was just there this last week end and man oh man you will love what it can do.. they have four levels of trails, and three are open for H2s, the fourth has a few water crossing that H1s can only do, we would suck up too much water. anyways it if worth every penny, there were drivers from as far away as Alaska and Florida and of course Montreal and Toronto at the Indiana track and then we all went to the Sand Dunes in Michigan, this will tell you what your H2 can really do and also what you as a driver can really do!
