Kev, do we need to block off the drain in our air boxes, only 35 1/2 ish " with full tire pressure .We do not want to lock up a diesel in the middle of a pond. I know mind is not in realy good shape.

Boys, Boys,,

it was a pittyfull Land Rover that got across, no snorkel, no wet suit, are you suggesting that H1 and H2 cant get across without floaters, (I dont know about H3 never gone swiming in more that 18-20 inches with my other one, ),,

Im ashamed.  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... rassed.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-[' /> . and what is that a trail not passable to hummer,  <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> ,, hihihi,,,

Just pulling your legs guys,, <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Im sure that if you guys cant make it , not many can, or they are creazier than you might be <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />  hihihi

Actually that Land Rover has a snorkel that goes to the roof, and it's hood height matches mine, so yes it is very deep! Besides you are lucky Safari Snorkels makes a Snorkel for the H3, so you are good, H1s have several snorkel kits to choose from but us H2s aren't so fortunate....but I am already designing my Prototype snorkel for the H2s, since I see the need!

Yeah that would be a really great idea, however the drains are supposed to pull shut while the engine is running due to engine vaccum...if it is working properly!

I am working on a safe test site for you both to try out your winches, will get back to you both soon!

Question how deep do you want to be when you get stuck so you can see the power of your winches!?!?

I drive a stock H3 with the Adventure package. I would not risk 42 in of water, maybe 30 if the lenght is not too big but that is it. Does that mean I CAN'T  go??? <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... /angry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='>:(' />

One suggestion I have for all us H2 and H3 guys, we NEED to extend our vent lines to minimum the height of our intakes in order to protect our diffs, t-case and tranny. Just some rubber hose and some tie-wraps and a little patience to route the hosing and we are ready for Submarine driver training!!! LOL! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... >/grin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';D' /> I am working on two solutions for us H2 guys to keep our engines safe and will keep you all posted! Also everyone should get a 6ft br 9ft tarp from the local harware store so that we can seal the front of our engine bays to make the wave in front of us and to minimize the water in the engine compartment and debris in the rads! BTW, you need some bungees too!
