Boomerang is a crap product invented by Bell and then given to a dealer who has a free ride. If the insurance company insists on Boomerang it because it is a made in Quebec product and they have an interest in the company. <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oapbox.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':soapbox:' />

Re: Hummer Insurance In Quebec
Hi everyone!
Regarding the insurance in Quebec, the requirement for a recovery system I had that in 2006 and any brand except Onstar was accepted then the requirement was lost on the second year. Today with my 2009 recovery system was not required and I still have the same insurer Meloche-Monex in Montreal, 514-384-1112 they have good price for my H3 and I have no complaint on claims, ( 2 changes of windshield in 3 years ).
Now due to the incertenty of Hummer maybe some insurer are scared of the vehicle because they expect thef rate to go up, repair cost to go up due to parts shortage etc, etc.
Best to shop around.
For sure, Desjardins will rip you off, , Belair dont insure this kind of vehicle, but there are others.
Hope this help
Regards

Re: Hummer Insurance In Quebec
It costs me $880.00 plus taxes to insure my Hummer H2 in Ontario which is up substantially from last year. Anyone have a similar incidence with an increase in insurance this year?
