I should be able to make that weekend work. I'd probably go with similar schedule to what I did last time around. Shoot down Friday afterwork and grab a good site so I I don't have to get up so early Saturday morning.

I'm with you on that Steve, was going to see if you were up for doing something like that. We're going to look for a trailer to rent so the wife and kiddos will be comfy. Shooting out Friday for a good site will be cool. That last site was incredible, directly across from the water and right by the trail, and plenty of parking and space for everybody.

Who's barbeque was that last time--yours or Brian? If we can do that again too that will help with any of the tent campers who want to eat hot food. Maybe do the burger thing Saturday night, if every body wants to toss in some coin (nominal cost to cover grub). I didn't catch onto that last time until after I got there, but that was really cool. You guys definitely had the set-up to make life pretty comfy for being in the woods.

So, I'll post in the General section of Club HUMMER Off Road to see if any other members might possibly be around or willing to run in the Rockies--my wife and I are thinking that would be awesome if we could get some interest on HUMMER's from the South of you could get in on this. That would take some planning their part---but would be really cool to pull off.

So, ANYBODY reading this---plan to have your HUMMER out for an awesome camping/wheeling trip in Waiporous for July 17-18, and even the 16th if you want to get out early! If you don't want to camp, come out for a day trip on the 17th or 18th!
You ain't havin' fun until it comes home on a flatbed!

I'll probably do the same and bring the family - we'll set up site at North Ghost Lake which is the turn right before the one for four corners.

I know you pulled your mobile home into there but I don't think I'm quite as adept yet with mine...

This ought to be a blast eh? Would be awesome to see a small convoy of Hummers come up from the States! Hopefully would be worth some news to help the cause and increase the popularity.... Or at least have some hippies throw tomatoes at us!

Alrighty!!

Seeing how the June run is done, and I think one of our better ones to date if I do say so....., I figured it was time to revive this post and start getting the Hype going for this one.

B-Man - if you can help me with the spacers keys sometime soon - I should have enough for the rubber fairly soon so July should be much better for me - although I didn;t get stuck once, bearing in mind that I didn't doo anything too extreme...

I think I have decided to go with the Toyo's as they have a bit more height and in 18" - not quite a wide as the 17" if you can believe it...Image

I'm in for this one. We should find a spot where we can fit a few trailers. I've got two trailers coming and it sounds like there are going to be a few more. I can leave any time on friday. Maybe Steve and I could head out friday and secure a spot. If anyone who is bringing a trailer posts that then we could look for a spot to accomidate every one. Maybe Brian knows of a good spot.

I'm bringing the family as we were going to be camping that weekend regardless so we'll be setting up in North Ghost Lake where we usually stay....

Count me in for 1 trailer. Utah Jim is also bringing one, so that makes 4 for sure.

I'm good for coming down Friday afternoon; I was thinking of leaving Sylvan sometime around 2 if that works for you Harold?
