That SUCKS. (Thinking out loud) Lets all get together with the Mini club and do the convoy with them. I'll even bring some friends from the RCMP and we'll set the cruise control to 5km/m over the posted speed limit. Any takers? HA HA HA

Hey OPP just impounded one of the Gumball 3000 rally cars and suspended driver's licence. Other drivers stated that they had cops every 1000 meters along the highway . Another got charged for stunt driving in the Skylon parking lot. The drivers stated that they were happy to be leaving Ontario.

Ohhhh man!!! I used to have a mini and also used to go to these events!!! These are very family friendly, and safe events! The cops had to of set them up.
Good thing my truck only does around 110 on the highway! HA HA HA
How do police officers test the tint of your windows??

^^ RCMP practice is to actually take a knife and cut away a section of the tint as evidence, leaves a nice big ugly "C" in your tint job. Not sure about how the OPP do it, but I know the CPS doesn't always take a sample... usually only if they are having a bad day or they want piss somebody off.

Yikes! Thanks, this is good to know! My Hummer is pretty much blacked out so I am nervous when cops are around. Luckily the only cops that have approached me have just wanted to take a look at my rig! Ha Ha Ha

Usually the more unique and attention grabbing your vehicle is, the more you get cops watching to see if you make any mistakes. This incident with the Mini's is case & point.
Actually here in Calgary there was a guy who drives a Lambo Gallardo... he was pulled over for speeding, I guess he was doing maybe 10 over the limit. The cop "estimated" his speed at 240km (about 130km over the limit) and then called the news paper and had them run it as a story for today. The guy is freaking out as usually "estimated" tickets get thrown out and this one was totally off.
