Dealership support shows the commitment from the community outside of just the owners. We all have spare parts, that is just a HUMMER thing and we all have skills that can resolve 99% of the issues, but AM General has always wanted a bigger commitment from the Brand..hence the dealership, I believe it is more of a political issue then a practical issue.



As I stated above, the challenge is not over and we do not give up easy!

SilverLake is great but it is truly a one day only event..so to drive 8+ hours for one day is a bit much, Silverlake is open to the public, as long as you purchase a sticker, so there is not an issue about getting into there, the big draw is bringing the Trucks home to South Bend, Indiana, the HUMMER home!!!

No worries...

Time for an end run send AMG letters with pictures of our Hummers with note that this year especially it would be nice to celebrate the Brand they birthed. Also mention that Hummer owners now twist in the wind with little dealer support as GM winds Hummer down.

can someone get AMG's address.

Spoke to the Hummer Club Inc today.. we will try a joint pitch to AM General..we still need dealership sponsorship..Woodfield has declined and with many of the dealerships closing down, this will be hard..if we could get a couple of licensed GM HUMMER Techs and a licensed H1 tech to come and offer their time.. that would be AWESOME!!!



Will keep you posted..Need support for all trucks..and ready to go support!

We had a few more conversations last evening with members of THCI and there is a bit more to this then was first thought.. we are still working on it but it is not looking likely.. our understanding is that AM General intends to have at least one more "who-ha" but maybe not this year..



So lets all plan for the Drummond Island trip this is also a great event..it is one that we planned on attending and should have a great time there as well..
