Yep, they just introduced it. It is called the "Distracted Driving" law which means if you appear distracted by anything in the car such as a phone, map, GPS, MP3 player... even the radio. you can be given a ticket.



They love giving tickets out here, ticketing in general has becoming a major revenue stream for the police service. Some of the stories I have been hearing are getting pretty stupid... lots of cases of tickets being given for no real reason so the officers can meet thier monthly quota's.
