Started with a rough run condition, while checking, the starter went.And the the fuel stepper . Plus labor=====1600. Damn starter was a grand.



I'd advise all whom do the gear reduction starter(cheaper fix-1/3 the cost) to either not drive in mud or puddles ,OR, cough up to coin for the big original starter.



You better get to work on the caboose.Needs a few items not soo critical for the driving.
