Well oddly enough in a very round about way. Anyone in Niagara pretty much was aware of the huge scrapyard fire in Thorold a couple weeks ago, our office where I work is right beside/infront of the burning pile of junk. My son who was there got to talking to one of the spectators because he had a biking shirt on, and we all ride trail bikes. When I eventually joined the conversation, he commented on my Hummer, saying how much his brother loves his. So back and forth through that, he told me his brother had joined the Canadian Hummer Club, and really enjoyed them. They sent him hats, and cards, and they had group rides etc..etc... so that night I look you up and here I am. :-)

That's awesome!

Funny as mine was by total fluke! I was camping in Waiparous one weekend and driving along checking things out with my son when all of a sudden I see a convoy of Hummers coming in the opposite direction heading to one of our trail heads. Well of course I had to follow for a while so see what was up, but turned around before they got to the trail as had to get back to the campsite.

Searched the net when I got back and guess what I found - and they laughed when I joined as they remembered the guy in the Red H3 that tagged along out of nowhere for bit...

LOVE the club! Derek's an awesome dude and runs the club very well. His enthusiasm is beyond question! I just have to get rid of one of the kids so I can switch from an H2 to an H1!!! I told the wife only 2 kids!!! <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... oflmao.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rotflmao:' />
Live life like there is no tomorrow!! You never know what's around the next corner.....
