If your TT4 light is coming on I suggest fixing the problem, it's usually not that difficult. Almost always it's a sensor that's backed off from the tone ring. It just needs a business card between the tone ring and the sensor, then gently tap the sensor so the business card is tight. Remove card.
Are you aware of the 'jumping pins 4 and 15 trick?' It flashes out a code that will help you diagnose the problem very quickly. It's called the Blink Code Procedure. It'll tell you which sensor needs adjusting.
If you Google 'TT4 Blink Code Procedure' you'll find what you need.

Thanks for your reply Greg. I understand your point on keeping both. The only reason I wish to remove it is because of the lights coming on intermittently. But lately they've been cooperating! I used to get all kinds of codes. The first code was the (2-6: Shuttle Valve switch failure). Then I got another one, then another one! All of them were different which made me conclude that I must have a wire shorting out somewhere. I reset the code and it usually does the trick <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ght_on.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':right_on:' />
If the lights stop coming on, I will try to keep both systems (ARB & TT4) and see.
