I havent seen this, but FWIW:

Marker and brake lights and cruise control are probably just a bad/blown fuse - easy fix

Steering wheel - meh

Hub seals always go, nothing of any large expense or big deal there. Relatively easy fix.

I think the main things that would concern me would be the Pan leak, and the guage not working properly, though it may be a decent amount (not crazy $$ but a decent chunk) to replace all the worn components (ie: pitman, idler, etc).

I'd be more concerned with A) Does this have the heavy block/warranty replacement block B ) Changing out that K&N Filter first off the hop (the K&N's for these trucks have been proven to do more bad than good) C) Why it has a new stack & windshield (possible collision?)

-No cruise control

-No windshield washer

-Fuel gauge not working correctly

-Front markers and rear brake lights not working

-steering wheel not straight

-LR Hub seal leaking

-RF rear upperarm loose

-idler arm, Pitman arm and left tie rod have play

-Front and rear pads and rotors warn down

-Transmission pan leak

-Exhaust leak at left manifold

even if the engine is OK, look at the list.. all smallish things but add the cost together and your looking at over $2000 and 2-3 weeks in fixes ... and thats if you don't find anything else along the way! and you know you will because we always do!!

Not to argue, but truth be told, $2k in repairs and maintenance doesn't take too long on these trucks. I'm not affiliated with the seller whatsoever, but considering the price is obo these are all good bits of info to be aware of if anyone here is using it as leverage on an offer. My bud has his '98 wagon for sale with far more done, and less in the way of needed repairs (if any), but I will admit, once you decide on a body style, it's hard to consider others lol.

Isn't a bit pricey?

I bought my 2002 two years ago with 1/2 the mileage in the same price range!

30k would be a better price!

Canadian trucks seem to go for higher than avg market (U.S.) prices

I pulled the trigger. It has the heavy block in it. Seller went down to 36. Plus he agreed to pay for parts to fix it and I pay for labour. Though my father in law/ neighbors (yes I do live beside my wife's parents haha) is a mechanic with his own shop and he already is working on my truck.

Congrats, and welcome to the Owner-family <img src='http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

You're gonna love it.

Before anything else, I'd advise you to go out and buy a spare PMD and a remote mount kit. If you dont need it next week/month you'll need it soon, and they always tend to crap the bed at the worst times hahaha

Found a few more small things wrong with it on my 450km drive home yesterday. The back passenger side window fell down off its track. he wired fog lights to the high beams so that's why I don't have cruise control. plus there is a hole in the windshield washer tank. Other then that, I love it! Also this thing got 17.2L/100km on the drive home, thats as good at my 5.7 Tundra.
