Exactly....... I have yet to talk to an owner of any half ton pickup from any manufacturer that ACTUALLY gets much (if any) better mileage than the H2, honestly and correct me if I am wrong here! Never mind what the window sticker says, 13-14mpg is typical for a half ton, at least for any pickup owner I've ever talk to!! They think it gets 20mpg though..... DO THE MATH EINSTEIN 20L/100K IS NOT THE SAME AS 20MPG
GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!! <img src='
http://www.canadianhummerclub.com/forum ... ngHead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':banghead:' /> (it's roughly 12...) Big vehicle, big engine, big bills at the pump no way around it!!

I've seen good and I've seen bad. I owned a Ford Super Duty King Ranch diesel that would get approximately 20 mpg if I drove conservatively. I own a Ford Excursion turbo diesel that gets about 18 mpg, sometimes better. And many moons ago, I had a Chevrolet Avalanche that would get 24 mpg if treated well. (My calculation, not the computer's fantasy numbers.) It comes down to the driver. That being said, I've seen Dodge Rams getting 9 mpg. But Dodge drivers tend to drive a bit... uh... differently.

I have no problem passing the prius stuck at the side of the road in the snow storm. Might stop and compliment him on his carbon foot print and head on home.

I am just honest about the mileage and the response that I get which frustrates me is that there are so many other trucks that get worse mileage the my H2.
Some people that I speak to say that my mileage is better than what they have and the conversations always end with too bad that the eco tree huggers killed the brand.
95% of the people that I talk to love my truck and then ask how much they are going for used... 4% don't need a truck but think it is nice and 1% think I am bad person.
I was pulling out on to the street on Saturday in Hamilton and there was a new softroad Saturn. Guy is behind the wheel and the girl was pushing. My girlfriend ADVISED me to pull over and help out.
I deliberatly parked in a 2 foot snow bank at the side of the road (wind blowing snow created these huges drifts and the road as a result was a mess).
Walking back to the truck, the young lady complimented me on my truck and said that her purchase was a mistake.
I sealed the deal with a power launch out of this snow bank without missing a beat and carried on down the road.
Definately some envy there.
The big question is why the guy was behind the wheel and his stick figure supermodel girlfriend was pushing?<img src='

Too bad the dashcam can't tilt to catch the action.....
funny stuff.

To bad it was her car, you guys could have given her a lift in the H2 and left her (apparently) crappy boyfriend behind. <img src='

I have yet to come across nothing but praise and envy in regards to my H2, haven't come across a hater yet, but I'm sure I will. I do however get tired of the gas mileage comments/questions.
