Is there anyway to over ride that TC2 control all together?

If you have a 2003 to 2007 you have a button for TC2. TC2 is your friend and will help you thru a lot of stuff!
If you have a 2008 to 2009, then the computer will rain on your parade on a regular basis! The best way to overcome this would be a front locker to match the rear, and pull the traction control fuse while offroad!

So with the thoughts of my first winter in my new ride, to be more specific, being able to drive down my street which gets plowed last, after 40 cm of frash snow I began to wonder about pulling people out of the winter ditches and snow banks too.
Of course I ran to my PC to read this fantastic article Polar Bear wrote in anticipation of refreshing my old memory cells.
Any chance I get another well written explaination of friendly snow bank pulling?
Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert but a 12,000lb tow straps and a shovel would be a good start.Tow straps because they typically have hooks, recovery straps don't have hooks, stronger but you'll have to find a way to attach them.

NO HOOKS , use recovery straps and D rings.
Hooks have done a lot of damage to people and vehicles

very informative write up - I think I will have to practice / utilize the BTM technique more.

BTM on my H1 gets me through anything that i have ever needed to.. love the control of it compared to lockers...but that is my preference.. as for BTM on an H2..never tried it on my H2.. but if Kevin says it works.. then I would listen to him..

BTM works on the H2, that's how we got over some of those weird infield obstacles at AM General. Took some practice, but worked nicely once you got it.
