looks like a good install! I was thinking about doing the same for a radio of some sort. is it possible to get an onstar mirror and replace the dash unit with the newer mirror units?

What kind of details would you like. The two biggest pains are cutting out the OnStar faceplate, and getting the scanner bracket mounted straight and centered in the space. I'm not even sure how I managed to this in the first place, I'd have to think about it.

Hey there Gadgets,
Awesome install! You've got me thinking about doing the same to my H2.
I note that you're in Ontario. Do you happen to know if B.C. forces use the bands that
you're able to pick up with the Bearcat that you personally installed?

Hi Matt,
This scanner is a analogue scanner, many places are switching to digital radios, and St.Catharines where I live just did that. This means I can no longer listen to them with this scanner. As for the frequencies used in B.C. I'm quite sure the scanner would pick them up, as long as they are not digital, as the scanner has a wide reception range. To find out more about your area the best resource out there is probably
https://www.radioreference.com/ and search their databases or post in their forums.
Hope that helps you.
Brian
