One of many results stating how HID lights are ILLEGAL across Canada unless installed in a CMVSS approved or D.O.T approved headlight assembly.


After personal experience of over $700 in fines for having H.I.D lights in cars and a $1600 impound fee having my lights "look super cool yo" isn't worth it and I can't stand being blinded by the idiots that have these in halogen light designed headlight assemblies I refuse to blind anyone else on the road. For the safety of everyone else on the road, I just avoid them unless maybe someday I can afford the DOT rated HID assemblies from STARR to do it right and legal.
