If you turn the headlight switch to OFF position, it will automatically spring back to AUTO position and it should turn OFF all the exterior lights.....do the same thing again and it will automatically turn the DRL or if it's dark, the park and headlights will turn ON. If the lights won't turn OFF with the switch, check the headlight switch connector #3 wire (Dark Green). Mine was disconnected when i got it (US model).

It is a momentary switch Rick, it is not supposed to lock into position. Like mentioned, it turns off the exterior lights, but on mine they turn back on once the vehicle is moving at about 5km/h really sucks for sneaking up on someone in the dark. LOL

yep, there is no off position on 08-09 models, you can turn it off but it will sit at "auto" position
