Hey Kapman, I have been thinking about doing this for quite awhile to my truck to, I have done a fair amount of looking into products and sketching out design options as well.
the biggest challenge I come across is trying to use the factory shock mounting with a bag in the same location as the factory spring. unfortunately i dont think its really doable and the shock needs to be relocated outside of the control arm.
I have some friends that used to be big into the slammed and bagged mini trucks, and have helped build a few of them so know abit about bags and such.
one of the toughest bags out there is by slam specialties, its made with internal bump stops and is designed to bounce vehicles into the air so can take a huge amount of load\force.
I am in Vancouver, so if you want to meet up to talk trucks Id be game.
cheers
Paul
