TAC Gear is fine that we can bring,, the question about do we have to be geared or gear up on site was more about the air-soft weaponry, Here in Quebec paintball is popular but there were so many restrictions on air-soft guns, they had to be clear plastic, red tip or other kind of restriction, i don't know about Ontario,
So, many went to paint ball because of the fact that the guns were metal, and feel more like real one than light clear plastic one.
Will you be supplying the weaponry ?  My son wanted an MP-5 for years and couldnt get it in quebec.
I still think it would be a great experience, and returning to Borden oufff that will bring back lots of memories. Been there 32yrs ago im sure it has changed a LOT

Thx Jim for the extra info .

Marc,

If you guys want to be active in the game I am pretty sure I can come up with a couple guns for you to have some fun with. The rules have changed quite a bit around airsoft guns over the past few years and have eased up a lot. They no longer have to be clear that I know of and there are a ton of guys from Quebec that play airsoft. There will probably be more than one team from QC that will come to this event.

Cheers,
Jim

Sorry for not updating this in a while! Unfortunately I was unable to secure CFB Borden for the event (concerns with unexploded ordnance in the area they wanted to give us) and it took quite a long time to get the final answer from them.  What I have secured is a 35 acre area with multiple logging roads in the Glencoe, Ontario area.  We are looking at putting on the event in late August so I will keep folks updated here as details are fleshed out.

Cheers,
Jim
