While Royal purple is good, AMSOIL IS BETTER!!! For the exhaust I did alot of research before I bought my systems also because of the same situation as you and I find it quieter than stock out on the highway especially when climbing hills. Outside the vehicle you get a very Sweet Exhaust Note!!! For your Intake while the K&N Filter is hard to Beat the rest of the system leaves something to be desired. I ran a Airmax system for quite sometime and had huge mileage gains, but since the filter is exposed and I now do deep water crossings I did't like knowing that I could cause my own demise!!! So I designed my own, still working on some aspects of it combining some off the shelf parts with some of my own creations! Also the Dynatech system and the gibson exhaust are both rated for off-road abuse! Also there are several systems from Gibson...only one is quiet!!! If you want before you buy anything, the next time you are in MTL, give me a call and I'll take you for a spin so you can judge for yourself and not based on my personal opinion!

as for the K&N Filter, I have a K&N Sock for the filter.

so not a lot of noise in the cabin from the new exhaust and headers? what cats did you install?

What is your system, dynatech headers, ??cats, and gibson exhaust?

For the dynatech here is the link http://www.afabcorp.com/AFCO_Dynatech_U ... o06h2wcats

For the Gibson here is the link http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mu ... 48443.aspx , sorry couldn't get on the actual gibson site, mine is the stainless steel one.

Also for the Amsoil stuff you should also use a power foam and engine flush before you do your oil change to get all the crap out of your engine. you should also use either a Amsoil EA oil filter or K&N oil filter for best results. A filter Mag is not a bad idea either.

hey Kevin... what's the chance of you taking a sound byte of your rig running?? Bear did one on one of the threads here and it sounds good, it gives a great idea of what the rig and exhaust sounds like.. if you would mind...

let me know... and is Gibson better then Corsa? not just for performance but also with less cabin noise because I really want the best of both worlds here, if I put something that is going to cause cabin noise, I will again never hear the damn end of it from my family!
