I know you can add an inline one...not sure if it is worth it or not.

I have a part number so there might be a filter. Wix filter number 33129. If this is the case it is tucked between the gas tank and the crossmember behind the t-case. You'll need to remove the t-case skidplate and be very patient, access is VERY limited!! BTW, pay careful attention to which hose connects where since they will connect in either position and if you connect them wrong, bye bye power!

I have not looked into this, but when I had my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500...the fuel filter was in the tank. It was changeable, BUT, you had to drop the fuel tank to do so. I would guess that this may be the same idea.
