@ wolf ---As far as I know, I shouldn't, but it's always good I guess, to check alignment , like my shims are behind the control arm plate, so it wasn't affected. Some other hummers have different set ups,....
@ ddermann --- lol I sorta wanna do the other side now, as I seriously like when new parts go on , (our trucks are old)
But yes, we checked the other side, not sure if it was Father Time, or the PO, im wondering myself,....
Funny thing is when I city stopped lately, I always heard a clunk, and recently checked my half shafts, brakes, I went over 100 times,
Then though maybe the coil spring or brake pads clicking or something minor, lol then when I got to Roy's, we jacked up the truck and the upper ball joint MOVED BAD, soooooo in my mind, just replace the ball joint, right?
Wrong....hehe
We tightened the hell outta the nut and she still moved , then realized th hole was ovaled, from hub casting,... figuredthe clunk, was the hub moving on the ball joint part, NOW, zero clunk noise,...
I'm surprised that little bit of play one could "feel" now that the hub is new, and zero play, drives like a dream....
Gotta admit, Roy has eyes of a hawk, I'm day dreaming looking at the hub, and lol he sees the hole right away!! Hahaha
Ya without him, I'd get as far as removing the tire, before I give up, hehe
