Try dave breggin at blue hummer. He is in the US but ships to canada. 2 years back he did not carry gobbi, he might do so now as he said he was going to try to become a dealer.



Also do an ebay search, they advertise directly on ebay from time to time.

Thanks Dave, the problem with the US suppliers is that the shipping will kill me, $500+ just for shipping...hence the reason I am looking locally.

anyone have any other ideas.....I am still looking for a dealer or atleast some kinda roof rack that looks close to the Gpbi...

Here is how to do it without the expensive cross border shippinig.



Order over the phone and have them ship it to the buffalo NY area using which ever sompany they normally use but instead of delivering it, tell the shipping company to HOLD FOR PICKUP AND CALL WHEN ARRIVES. This will not only save some shipping cost, it will allow you to save the brokerage charge. Once it arrives drive down, pick it up and clear it your self at the birder. Coming through the rainbow brdge is fastest as there is not a lot of traffic there during the fall/winter. All the trucking terninals are within 5-10 minutes of the border crossings.



Cost for US made goods import charge is just the sales tax (GST + PST) and about 5 minutes of your time. Just be sure to bring a copy of the invoice with you.

Yes. The only issue is that gobi is slow to ship so you need to sort out the shipping company when you place the order so that you can watch for arrival. Mine was shipped by Fedex. I had them hold it at the fedex terminal in tonawanda NY and did the pickup there.
