Just did another trip

193 miles to , 4 hrs

193 miles home  4 hrs

27 miles in the bush -low gear  4.5 hrs

413 miles total trip, 12.5 hrs running

used 120.5 l  or 26.54 gals

returned with a 1/4 tank of fuel in rear tank

works out to be 15.56 m/gal combined

the stage 3 computer does do wonders,

could get better if I had gone to the towing , not performance settings from Heath Diesel

yeah, but don't compare MPG of a VW TDI with a Hummer...

from the website...2.9l/100km (81USmpg [97 Imp mpg]) up to the 313hp V10 TDI with 553 lbs of torque...

My Wife's x5 is 3.0L Diesel and has 286hp and 427lbs-ft torque and get 9.8l/100km in the city and 7.6 on the hwy driving normal. some of the guys on that website drive very slow and live in ideal areas to achieve thos low consumption numbers. My Jetta gets 4.7hwy and 5.8 city.
