So I have been hearing in the news about additional massive lay offs in black gold industry... this could get scary if they dont stop panicking...


Suncor laid off 7000 if I heard right??? That sounds kinda High.... but was through a friend so may have been distorted. May have been a total amount as I heard quite a few companies have been axing people..


I may go buy a Hot Dog Cart....

I think it is 1000 people, but they slashed a billion dollars from their budget which will have a further impact on the province.

Some good news today, I got a bite today on one of my resumes... an outfit up North wants to bring me on as a consultant. Hoping to head out there and have a look at their operation either this week or next to see if I can help them or not. The job description sounded a bit vague, but then again that is sort of my specialty.
