Maybe with a heck of a lot of elbow grease, you might be able to hide them.....but....maybe NOT!! Those "war wounds" are hard to hide so you may as well just be proud of them and realize they were well earned.....

Well, I might be proud... not to that stage yet... if I knew where they came from. But damn, I have no idea! I haven't made any attempts at them yet, so we will see. My wife just found out about them today, she thought it was just mud before..

I want to say those scratches came from when we got stuck on the night run. We were hugging that tree pretty tightly..thats the only thing I can think of.
Pics..
I made the album public..if these don't work, I am currently uploading them all to Photobucket, so hang tight.

I actually picked her up on St. Patrick's day! I was trying to keep it a secret to surprise everyone at a meet. I really wanted to at the drive in night but I stripped it to the body and thoroughly cleaned top to bottom (so much for that, thanks to that dusty swift rapids road).
Me… nice…

My question is where did you pick those up??? Not when you got stuck that would be on driver side if it was then. Not unless you picked them up when we were headed in on night run where you got stuck on way in turned to sharp? Sorry about that Brian I have the same rash on my truck but with a dent in the door from that spot.
Cheers

It's ok John, apparently you are to be proud of these things? Not sure I'll get to that stage.
I'm not sure, we were close to the tree Smasher mentions, but not with the whole length of the truck, unless I'm thinking of the wrong tree, and I thought I would have felt that, seeing as it caught on the rear edge of the front wheel well, then all the way down. It would not be where I got stuck I don't think, we could get out the doors on both side I believe, and again wasn't the full length in I didn't think... but it was dark. Time for more lights!!! Oh well not much can be done. Some of it might come out, will have to see when I try. It has been YEARS since I tried to buff anything out.
