SWEEET!

I still have no definite plans for Asia so can't commit 100% to either weekend, but almost certain I will be able to attend on the 14th. I'm hoping Brian/Friends will be able to join us to help with planning and scouting of course! But let's plan on meeting at Tim Horton's in Cochrane at 9am and heading out shortly after that. Maybe we have a little fun in the Pits first, then run down to Waipourous Valley Road and head to the Lake from there. I've got a portable fire-pit and grills I will bring, depending on firebans and all. So we could have lunch (fresh fish? and BYOMeat) up there too.

The other thing I really want to do is see how far down that cut-line quad trail we can get Image (JL and Khamul know of what I speak...). Heading north from the river towards Margaret lake, you go straight instead of turning left off the first long straitway...Shouldn't it actually end up at the bottom of the hill just north of Margaret Lake? (Would be a side-excursion of course Image )

Hard to say - it seemed to vear more north east after that bridge so I don't think it would - unless of course it circled round the hill. It's anyones guess as JL and I kept saying my Hummer was just around the next corner..... and then the next,.... and then the next and we just kept zig zagging so may be fun to find out!

Ok so there's a young mechanic at my work that has a Jeep TJ with a lift , mudders , 4.10 gears and a detroit locker in the rear and he hasnt really taken it wheeling ....so he has seen my SUT in the parking lot all covered in mud and asked where I go , so I told them about the club ....he isnt one of those jeep fanatics either , he likes the Hummer brand . He asked if he can tag along on our next trip as he really is a 4x4 nut and being a mechanic he may come in handy out there lol ...so just thought Id ask if its cool if I bring him on the 21st
Lifted , locked and ready to rock!

Looks like I may not be able to do the 14th as I forgot I have a Montanna run still to get in - but the 21st is a definite go!

How about we do a roll call for the 14th? I'm up for it for sure but it sounds like quite a few people won't be able to make it, I was talking to Brian this week and he probably won't be coming either... I hate to say it but it might be a bust!

I will let Ferdy know, I think he is in already, lol.

Maybe I will PM a couple of guys from Beyond as well to see if they are interested in coming along, I was thinking maybe the core guys like Alak (LR Dicovery), Fraser (New Jeep GC) and Trevor (Jeep GC).

If we are coorindating the run there shouldn't be an issue with the radio's or people racing off ahead.

You guys make the call, do we want more or is the core group ok?

As long as us Hummer guys stay together - no worries at all if they want to fly ahead as we take care of our own..... I dunna if I'd help them out of a hole down the trail if they do.... yeah I probably would....

My opinion of them is that they have no trail honor.... except the guy that was in the Toyota... I was quite fond of him!

Anyways - the more the merrier! E-Mortal has my Baby right now and is going to completely re-do the exhaust..... AGAIN... They just don't like what that muffler shop did.... but I must admit... those boys do nice work!

I will hold off then,I can't remember who was in that diesel Toyo, I haven't seen him around on Beyond for a while.

So... where are we going anyway? Mclean or Waipourous?

How much for a custom exhuast at E-mortal?
